The energy debate at the European and national levels is a lively one and #SolarHeat must be part of it.

Following the publication of the REPowerEU plan and the EU Solar Strategy by the European Commission, we bring forward a complementary Solar Thermal Roadmap for Europe, highlighting the contributions the solar heating & cooling sector can bring to a decarbonised and decentralised energy sector by 2030.

Energising Europe with Solar Heat – A Solar Thermal Roadmap for Europe was launched officially during the high-level event ‘Heat decarbonisation: a strategic imperative for the EU’ that took place in Brussels on June 20th and gathered policymakers, representatives of the solar thermal sector, and other industrial sectors.

More than 100 entities have already become signatories. We are now

launching a second call for signatories, inviting the solar thermal sector and its supporters to join the initiative. The call for signatories is open until August 26, 2022.

All the signatories’ entities will be mentioned in the document’s final version. The roadmap aims to improve solar thermal’s position in the energy debate and support advocacy activities at the European and national levels.  If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at the following address: info@solarheateurope.eu
