What is Solar Heating?

Traditional Solar Heating systems utilize the sun’s energy and  radiant heaters or in-floor heating, to provide heat to the structure during sunlight hours.  While this utilizes the solar energy, it does so when most buildings do not need the heat, during the day.  With some careful planning a system like this can be maximized using a heat sink like the floor or a wall to give off the heat more slowly, but year round heating is impossible in many climates.

 Solar Heating is one of the 3 main components of the DSH Heating System.
